Q. How far are you from the airport?

Q. How far is The Lodge from the beach?
A. Grand Anse Beach is about 45 minutes walk.
Q. How close is The Lodge to the tourist sites?
A. As Grenada is only 21 miles long by 12 miles wide nowhere is very far from The Lodge.
Q. How does one get about in Grenada?
A. Taxis and private tour operators are plentiful and highly recommended. For the intrepid there is a good public bus service (from outside The Lodge).
Car, scooter and bicycle rental are also available.
Q. What is there to do in Grenada?
A. Grenada is a tropical island and as such has all the usually activities one would expect such as sea sports (scuba, kayaking, sailing, snorkeling, para-sailing, surfing, wind surfing, etc.), cycling, hiking tours, walking tours, island tours, adventure tours, bird watching, whale/dolphin watching, turtle watching, exotic garden tours plus all the usual night life, or as we prefer, consider Grenada a place to be; not a place to do so bring your own silence and let Grenada welcome you!
Q. How can we assuage our guilt for the carbon footprint incurred by taking a long-haul flight to The Lodge?
A. We have done the maths and we plant a tree for every person who stays at The Lodge.
Q. I have a wheat/gluten/nut/etc. allergy. Can you cope with my diet?
A. At The Lodge we are well versed in dealing with dietary allergies and are able to accommodate almost any special (non-animal) dietary requirements be they for health,
allergy or religious/lifestyle reasons.
Q. Is it necessary to immunise against any diseases?
A. No, but as there are no free medical services in Grenada we strongly recommend a comprehensive medical insurance policy for your holiday/vacation.
Q. Are there mosquitoes in Grenada?
A. Yes, but they are not as big as the ones in Canada but larger than the midges in Scotland. There is no malaria in Grenada – unless you bring it!!
